Totally really nice stay for the three nights of our stay. Traditional hotel with exceptionally good views as a bonus. Location - good and unbeatable near to the shops and town centre as well as Derwentwater. Nearby The George - great place to chill out...

Grounds were kept immaculately clean, breakfast was satisfactory. Its location at a walking distance from Thornthwaite Galleries was incredible and brilliant. In general the staff were hard-working and pleasant. The service was exceptional, nothing too much trouble.

Really enjoyed our stay here.
Quirky and comfy hotel, it's the best 3-star experience I ever had. Staff is efficient and you can park your car on site. The location is stunning, relatively close to Derwent Pencil Museum.

The breakfast got a solid 10-can't beat a good full English to kick off the day! Plus, the atmosphere in the bar area was lively, perfect for winding down after a day exploring. Oh, and top marks for those baby back ribs nearby, pure bliss!
Had to lug my suitcase up four flights of stairs, a bit of a trek. And parking? Total chaos, had to park two blocks away!

Had a blast with my friends! We explored local shops and tried pottery painting, both highlighting the region's vibe. The hotel was really central. Breakfast was great, and the staff were super cute.
I wasn't too happy with my room's temperature. It felt cold even with the radiator on full.
